Our overarching mission is to advocate for - and educate about - securing a dominant U.S. Air & Space Forces as the foundation of a strong National Defense; to honor and support our Airmen, Guardians, and their Families; and to remember and respect our enduring Heritage.
The Air and Space Forces Association Wright Memorial Chapter 212 (AFA WMC) proudly serves Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Springfield ANG Base, and the greater Miami Valley Air and Space Forces communities; in part by advocating within the military and local governments and educating the general public on the critical need for aerospace power. We also proudly honor those who have served, and continue to serve the nation with our annual awards, ceremonies, and events throughout the year.
Our membership consists of active duty, retired, and veteran military personnel, current and retired civilian employees, corporate and community leaders, and involved citizens who are dedicated to air & space dominance and supporting our advocate, educate, and support missions related to the Air & Space Forces, its workforce, families, and veterans. We are committed to providing support for activities such as community outreach programs, educational scholarships, advocacy events, and networking opportunities.
Additionally, we support STEM education through grants and other ‘honor’ programs for local schools or teachers; scholarships to active-duty members, ROTC and Junior ROTC students; plus we give back to our military and veteran affiliated community, championing people and events at the Dayton VA Medical Center, as well as Airmen, Guardians, and civilians of all ranks and grades - and their families.
Our chapter mission and programs are made possible with the generosity of our Star Sponsors and Community Partners and the invaluable contribution of our members and volunteers. We encourage you to either being one – or thanking them by utilizing their goods and services.
