AFA WMC thanks all the WPAFB and community professionals who attended the May 15th networking luncheon - especially Dr. Charles (Chuck) Ormsby. During this event, he shared his thoughts and insights regarding AFRL/RX’s Manufacturing and Industrial Technologies, DAF ManTech ’s mission, and the importance of the Defense Industrial Base. He also delved into DAF ManTech’s Investment Strategy in five key areas (Advanced Concepts, Space Systems, Hypersonic Strike Systems, Autonomous Collaborative Systems, and Networked C3 Systems), then closing on how to learn more. It was a unique, insightful, and informative chat with the group; and we truly valued his patience, knowledge, the time he took to both interact with the attendees, answer their questions (both during and well after the presentation), as well as agreeing to have pictures taken with him! Based on the amazing comments and feedback we received, his presence and remarks genuinely resonated with everyone in the room!
